The Colombian born star earned over $30million last year alone, making her by far the most successful woman on TV.

The 41-year-old’s impressive earnings are not just from her breakout turn on ABC’s Modern Family but from a host of lucrative endorsement deals.

The star is, according to Forbes, ‘the reigning queen of celebrity endorsement deals’.

The ranking is largely due to her appeal in the bilingual market, where she often doubles up in endorsements in both Spanish and English for such big name brands as Kmart and Diet Pepsi.
The bilingual ads have enabled her to even beat out the Kardashian sisters in Forbes Best Paid TV Actresses list (the reality stars are considered actresses by the magazine) leaving the ladies in the fifth spot.

One of Sofia's biggest contracts was with Sears, which gave her a $7million advance in 2012 as the company continues to aggressively target the Hispanic demographic.

Sharing the number two ranking on Forbes list was Law And Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay and Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco – each of them pulling in an impressive $11million.

Included in the top 20 of Forbes’ list are Parks And Recreation star Amy Poehler, Courgar Town star Courteney Cox and Scandal’s Kerry Washington.

And she also co-stars with Sharon Stone in Fading Gigolo, which will have a limited release later this year.
