'I did a movie with Sophia like six years ago and she set me up with Jaime, her best friend,' Zegers told E! earlier this year.
From that point on, the romance blossomed and Zegers and Feld, a talent agent, were engaged in April.
The proposal happened on a casual morning walk to the beach, where the 28-year-old presented a ring he designed, according to ET Canada.

As for the ceremony, Zegers revealed after the engagement that the affair was to be a Jewish one, requiring him to memorise Hebrew and particpate in traditions such as smashing a glass with his foot.
'My father-in-law just told me to do it with the heel,' a smiling Zegers told E!.
The pressure of a wedding can be immense, and Zegers hit the golf course on Friday for downtime with some close friends.
