Cher Lloyd gets dolled up to shoot new video in a less than glamorous Los Angeles carpark

She’s on a mission to crack the states with her catchy tunes and Cher Lloyd seems to be loving her time in Los Angeles, choosing to shoot her new music video in the sunny climes.
The 20-year-old was spotted enjoying a quick break as she shot scenes for the video for new single I Wish.
As well as sneaking in a cigarette and a sip or two of Red Bull, Cher kept her energy levels up with a quick smooch from her ever present fiancé Craig Monk.

The X Factor star is throwing herself into her new material, with her latest track I Wish featuring rapper T.I.
Every good single needs a great video and Cher was certainly dressed for the part as she shot scenes in a less than glamorous LA car park.
At least the star looked the part as she showed off her tiny figure in a black strapless playsuit which featured a sheer panel on her stomach.

With a wide belt wrapped around her waist, Cher ditched the heels for some comfy red and black Nike high-tops, which were no doubt a sensible choice for the video’s dance segments.
The singer finished off her red and black ensemble with a coordinating bandana wrapped around her brunette locks which were pulled into a chic up-do.
Cher’s fiancé Craig was on hand to make sure no strand was out of place, with the star’s partner also her hair stylist.

The star was understandably excited to shoot her brand new video, telling her Twitter followers before heading to set:

The UK star got a helping hand in her quest for stateside success when she joined Taylor Swift for a duet in front of thousands of fans last month.
The X Factor finalist was invited onstage while Taylor performed the first of two sold-out shows at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.
‘You didn’t think we would do a show here and not have a special guest?’ teased Taylor as she paraded across the stage in a white t-shirt and red skirt.
As a drum roll preceded Cher’s arrival the country star added: ‘She is a long way from home – she’s actually from the UK, and she sings this song that has been in my head ever since it came out last summer.
‘I know you probably know it; the feeling that when you break up with somebody and then you’re like, “Ugh, I shouldn’t have done that. I want you back.”’

The audience – some 15,000 in total – roared their appreciation as the diminutive star took to the stage in a black leather outfit to perform a duet of Want U Back.
The track sold more than a million copies and climbed to number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 following its release in 2012 – her biggest US hit to date.
While her popularity in the UK may have waned since her emergence on The X Factor in 2010, Cher’s career seems to be blossoming in the US, where debut album Sticks + Stones climbed to number nine on the US album chart.
I Wish featuring rapper T.I, was released as a digital download on September 2nd.
