So it's no wonder the Welsh opera singer may have found it surprising to hear claims X Factor bosses were 'less than impressed' with the 27-year-old after meeting to discuss a role as one of the four judges.
The mother-of-two was spotted smiling broadly outside the BBC Radio 2 studios on Sunday after admitting she had meetings with the talent show's bosses.
No way! Charlotte Church, pictured at BBC Radio 2 studios on Sunday, has been vocals about her disdain for the X Factor
New addition: The first picture of the X Factor
judges all together, which includes Sharon Osboune who was part of the
original show
On Twitter, Charlotte had previously told her followers that she turned down the ITV reality show and she would rather 'poke her eyes out.'
But talking to the Sunday Mirror an X Factor source hit back and said: 'She was quite frankly, boring and she was never high on the priority list as there were far bigger names producers were looking at.'
However on Saturday, Charlotte's manager Rhiannon Morgan-Bell refuted the claims and said: 'The X Factor team chatted with her in depth and said that they'd love her to be one of the judges.'
At the meeting Rhiannon said Charlotte agreed to contact producers as soon as she had made a decision, knowing that the X Factor team were keen to start filming in the near future.
Her manager added: 'We later instructed Charlotte's TV agent to inform X Factor she wasn't interested in working with them.'
First glimpse: Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and
pet dog Bella as the first pictures of studio shots at the X Factor
auditions are revealed
Beautiful Bella: Sharon Osbourne is known for
her love of dogs (and bringing them to the X Factor studio) but Bella
could possibly be the cutest one of them all and dubbed her 'the fifth
judge'
On Twitter she said: 'I'd rather poke my eyes out with sticks that be a part of the machine that kills music.'
The final line-up now includes businesswoman and music promoter Sharon Osbourne who has returned after judging the original version of X Factor from 2004 to 2007, and replaced Tulisa Contostavlos.
Cuddling: The pair cosy up as Sharon watches the auditions
Sharon, who is known for her love of dogs, brought along adorable pooch Bella and dubbed her as 'the fifth judge' and joked that she had brought her along to help her make the all important decisions on which acts to put through to her judges houses category.
An insider said: 'For once all the attention wasn't on the judges - Sharon's little dog Bella kept everyone entertained during the breaks and kept morale high on a very long day of Bootcamp.'
Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger and Gary Barlow all return from last year, and all judged the hopefuls at Wembley Arena this week.
Louis, 60, also revealed he is quitting the show next year after 10 years.
Meanwhile, Charlotte was on Radio 2 on Sunday, where she performed a cover of Joy Division's Love Will Tear Us Apart.
