Hailee Steinfeld appears WAY beyond her 16 years in heavy make-up as she attends 2013 Teen Choice Awards

Over-the-top: Hailee Steinfeld looked way beyond her 16 years thanks to her heavy make-up as she attended the 2013 Teen Choice Awards at Los Angeles' Gibson Ampitheatre on Sunday night
She's lucky enough to be genetically-blessed in the looks department, and is a naturally pretty teenager.
But Hailee Steinfeld looked way beyond her 16 years thanks to her heavy make-up as she attended the 2013 Teen Choice Awards at Los Angeles' Gibson Ampitheatre on Sunday night.
Rather than let her stunning natural features shine through, the teen actress heaped on dramatic smokey eye make-up that was far from appropriate for her age.

Unfortunately, Hailee's over-the-top look was even more noticeable as she took to the stage to present an award alongside her Ender's Game co-star Abigail Breslin, who opted for much more natural cosmetics for her moment in the spotlight.
In spite of her make-up blunder, the young star hit the right sartorial note for the star-studded event, opting for a much more age-appropriate ensemble.
Opting for a fun and funky outfit, Hailee wore a bright orange and navy blue star-print midi-dress, featuring a stylish drop waist and flattering frill hem detail.

The actress teamed her pretty dress with a pair of tangerine strappy stilettos, while wearing her long brunette locks tumbling in loose waves around her shoulders.
And the star certainly seemed excited at the prospect of mingling with the great and good of the showbiz world at the event, writing on her Twitter page: 'Teen Choice Awards tonight- who's going/watching??'
She and Abigail, 17, seemed to be in great spirits as they took to the stage to present a gong, with Abigail tweeting: 'So fun presenting at the Teen Choice Awards tonight with my #EndersGame costar and friend @HaileeSteinfeld... #highheelprobz?'

Pitch Perfect - starring Rebel Wilson and Skylar Austin - was the big winner in the movies category of the ceremony, while One Direction, Selena Gomez and Bruno Mars took home multiple gongs in the music section.
In the television category, Pretty Little Liars swept the board with an incredible seven awards, while Glee bagged four gongs, and The Vampire Diaries took home two.
