Amanda Seyfried 'dating' Justin Long... after spending a cosy night together By Jason Chester and Iona Kirby

They were rumoured to be romantically linked after they were spotted looking cosy together at the New York premiere of Lovelace at the end of last month.
And now it has been claimed that Amanda Seyfried and pal Justin Long have taken their friendship to the next level.
According to reports the acting pair are dating, but are taking things slowly.

'Justin is super private about his relationships, [so] I'm not positive how they exactly met, but they've known each other for awhile, when they were seeing other people,' a source told Us Weekly.
'They recently started hanging out more, going on date-like activities. They're both busy … but they're seeing where it goes.'
Another source added that the hot new Hollywood couple 'have a similar sense of humour'.

Amanda, 27, is currently in London where the actress was seen out for dinner with another eligible bachelor in the form of Jonathan Rhys Meyers on Wednesday evening.
Justin has made no secret of his love for Amanda's talent - and perhaps more - in Lovelace, her latest movie, in which she portrays porn star Linda Lovelace.
The 35-year-old tweeted on Saturday: 'Adjectives don't do justice to @AmandaSeyfried's fearless + transformative perf in #Lovelace (though I would've been better) -just go see it.'

It comes shortly after Amanda was in attendance at her film’s official unveiling at the Cinema Society in the Big Apple, where she posed for obligatory photos before cheerfully signing autographs for waiting fans – and getting a large stripe of blue ink on her head for her troubles.

Following the premiere – which was also attended by the likes of Zachary Quinto and designer Zac Posen – Amanda headed for a  late night after-party at the Refinery Rooftop lounge.
But those hoping for a chat with the film’s leading lady were left disappointed when she opted to spend the entire evening cosying up with Long.
‘They were hanging out at the Rooftop Refinery til closing time,’ a source told the New York Post. ‘They looked cosy in a corner.’

Amanda has previously enjoyed relationships with Ryan Phillippe and British star Dominic Cooper – who she met while filming 2008 musical Mamma Mia!
Justin was also involved in a high-profile romance with actress and director Drew Barrymore before they split in 2010.

Elsewhere the actor is set to romance co-star Anna Faris in new Chuck Lorre sitcom Mom.
‘Poor b*****d doesn’t know what he’s in for,’ Lorre Told E! of Long’s character in the show. ‘But he is going to be her first shot at a meaningful relationship in this new chapter in her life.’
